Mark, a long-time Belmont resident, graduated from Belmont High School in 1972. He and his wife Christine – who will celebrate their 38th wedding anniversary this year – are proud parents of two Belmont-raised children: Stephen (BHS ’11) is working on a PhD in Economics at UC Davis; Sarah (BHS ’16) is a registered nurse at Winchester Hospital.
Belmont Town Government Experience
The role of the Moderator requires an understanding of the questions coming before Town Meeting. This includes our annual operating and capital budgets, finance issues, zoning and planning, economic development, and building committees. For 32 years as a Town Meeting Member and 18 years of service in elected and appointed positions, Mark has stayed current on all the issues that impact the town.
